We're open for Business

Our Vision

Cumberland is becoming a magnetic treasure of the Comox Valley. More than a picturesque community rich in history and outdoor recreation, Cumberland is a gathering place embraced by residents and visitors with a vibrant and engaged business community.

A thriving community that loves people and creative ideas.

Our Mission

To work in partnership with the Cumberland business community by showcasing what makes this community vibrant and unique.  Creating memorable experiences through promotion, events, and economic development.

Who we Are

We are a small group of business owners that have been working hard over the course of many months, initiating this entire vision, organizing events, and other projects. We are a non-profit organization under the direction of an elected volunteer Board of Directors. Funding thus far has been out-of-pocket, with the exception of a generous $4000 start up grant from the Village of Cumberland. Our goal is for funding to be collected through membership fees, and municipal, provincial and federal grants.
